‘You Can’t Deal Me The Aces and Think I
Wouldn’t Play.’ (About Those Aces-Susan
James)
‘I’m working on some new books and have
some oldie but goody songs playing in the
background. One of the best songs from my
past:
“You Can’t Deal Me The Aces And Think I
Wouldn’t Play (from ‘Aces’ album, sung
amazingly by Suzy Bogguss -‘Aces; written by
Cheryl Wheeler)”
As we close out this past year and move into a
wonderful new one, and as many of us are, we
are reminded of times we’ve been saved from
some turmoil at the last minute. Having no clue
of how or why the ‘miracle’ showed up.
It’s happened to me many times when my mind
thought, ‘ok, this is the end of this, and the
worst is gonna happen;’ and the downward
spiral somehow was stopped and the experience
of that time was fixed from ‘somewhere’ and
the moment brought relief and another day to
move forward.
Along came the day when ‘higher knowledge’
entered my life and the promises of what life
could be as we learn and understand the higher
law. Those were the Aces that were dealt to me.
I chose to play. I’ve stumbled along the way, but
always given another hand, and a good one.
The higher we go, the less unwanted shows up
and if it does it no longer ‘feels’ not good!
May your new year be filled with Aces that you
decide to play. With this playing we all are
designed to Win !
Best and Splendid Success Everyone!
