Michael Jordan & ThoughtForm-Manifestation
(From ‘The Last Dance) by Susan James

I’m not a huge basketball fan, I don’t really
watch it and I was a chicken basketball player in
college intramurals. (As soon as I got the ball, I
sent it anywhere else!)
But I was very interested in watching ‘The Last
Dance’ simply because it profiled Michael
Jordan, The Chicago Bulls; his gifts, skills,
trials and tribulations.
I watched all 10 episodes. There were tons of
take-aways of course, but my zone seems to be
in finding entertaining ways to express higher
ways and means of desire fulfillment.
Two fun statements that caught my attention:
On being present: ‘Don’t bring the past into the
future’. And ‘Why would I think about missing
a shot when I haven’t taken it yet’?
Both of those statements could fall into the
themes of ‘unwanted and lack’.
And since everything begins with a thought and
how we then direct that thought, he was making
higher-thought statements and practicing them
in his life.
He stated in the series that he always, thanks to
his Dad, tried to see the positive of everything.
So he didn’t want to hear about past losses.
He didn’t want to hear about ‘but what if you
miss the shot?!
Many times for many of us, we bring thoughts
of past unwanted circumstances into our present,
which can nullify our success if we hold those
thoughts for too long.
We bring thoughts of ‘didn’t have enough
money back then what if it happens now?
Or, well that relationship didn’t work out back
then, what if it doesn’t work out now? Or I tried
a business-project thing back then and what if it
doesn’t work out now?
All 3 of those statements are from ‘the past’
and holding them too long creates in our present
and future, more of what we don’t want.
A common cliche’ often times treated only as a
cliche’ is ‘we get what we think about’, the glass
is half empty or full’. But it all does boil down
to a type of personal philosophy that we may
choose to teach ourselves.
As we understand how thought energy affects
our circumstances we soon find we can change
those circumstances by consciously and
purposely changing our thought patterns.
Changing our thought patterns affects our
behavior, how we act, whether we choose from
inspiration or fear.
Mr. Jordan was intensely focused on what he
wanted, not what he did not want. Sometimes to
move our own lives forward we need to answer
that same question for ourselves. What direction
are my thoughts heading me towards?
We can choose to direct our lives with positive
intent and expectation or we can choose the
opposite of that. We get what we think about.
Michael’s thoughts brought him feelings of
victory and success.
Amen to that for us All!
Best and Splendid Success Everyone!
