Being Protected From Not-Good Things,
Something to Feel Really Good About!

Recently I’ve been adding a paperback version
to the ‘Castle’s & Buttons’ Series.

This quote from Florence Scovel Shinn began
one of the chapters and I’ve posted an excerpt
from Book 3 here for those who feel led to it!
As you’ll read, I’ve found this quote very true in
my own life.

“When you have asked for the Divine Plan of
your life to manifest, you are protected from
getting the things that are not in the Divine
Plan.” (Florence Scovel Shinn)

I had asked for the Divine Plan of my life years
ago, and since then, I have been both buffered
and protected in a million ways. Life has been
smooth, easy and peaceful. This was a far cry
from always having to put out major fires that I
had created previously.

The study of metaphysics, the esoteric and
higher law can bring all kinds of wonder to
those who apply the teachings and under-
standings. Our consciousness opens up to
new experiences and allows us to implement
those experiences in peaceful ways and means.

This applies to both personal and business
circumstances. We learn about the significance
of desire and we learn why we can happily
expect the delivery of our intentions.

For most of us, me included, there are steps we
have to take. It’s nothing hard to do, but it does
take a commitment. As we open ourselves up to
the promises of higher law, it gives us the
motivation and inspiration to stay committed.

Our beliefs change into our believing that we
can have those things we want. And…if we have
asked for the Divine Plan of our lives to
manifest, if and when we stumble, we have help
climbing back on the ‘high horse’.

There have been times, fortunately not recently,
where I had ‘had it’ with this stuff. Usually that
meant that I had something I needed to clear but
wasn’t ready. But I was made ready and back on
the high horse I got.

It’s in the higher energies where life runs
smoothly, and or intentions are met with ease.
It’s in the higher energies that we may be of
service to others without having to utter a word
to them.

We all have folks in our lives that seem to be
struggling in some way, but they are not ready to
hear higher suggestions from us. We can help,
simply by asking, that if it is in the higher good,
we can then envelope them in our energy and we
DO help.

As we continue in our higher agenda, doing the
‘practice’, we convince ourselves that those
things we want, ARE manifesting for us.When
we reach that place we feel happy and excited
because we know we can count on the higher
law to deliver.

If we are in a place in our work, relationships or
health, that we are not happy, we CAN change
it. Are we willing to change it? Do we even
know we can change it? I’ve changed my
business, my health, my relationships, my
finances all based on higher law. But first I had
to learn about it. I had to choose and want to
understand it.

Some things took me longer than others, but
since I had chosen the divine path of my life, I
was protected along the way while I was
learning. There is a ton of comfort in that.

What Does The Divine Plan Mean? In the early
stages, at least for me, I was ‘afraid’ that
whatever the divine plan for my life was, that it
would be something that I wouldn’t like or
enjoy. That took me a bit of time to see the
incorrectness of that. The Divine Plan is only
and always filled with goodness and happiness,
and it fits in with our personalities and our
unique interests and talents.
