Yelling at Tomatoes? Trusting Gestation of Manifestation (Susan James)

Are You Yelling at Tomatoes?
Trusting The Gestation Period of Manifestation
(How to Believe When We Can’t See It Yet)
(by Susan James)

Most of us have things we want to happen in our
lives which maybe haven’t shown up yet. Desire
drives our path and our desires for bigger, better
and more are part of both our individual and
human evolution.

Bigger, Better, and More Money, relationships,
health, home, cars, business and livelihood.
We want it all because we feel intuitively that
having more of whatever, even if we’re already
generally happy will add to our happiness.
What’s better than happy? More Happy!

As I wrote in ‘Castles Escrow’ much of what we
want is invisible to us in the moment. It has not
materialized, yet. So how do we stay on track
when we feel the not having of it more than
the having of it’?

Whenever I have those moments of beginning to
look at  I don’t I have it yet, I remind myself
of the resistance that this will set up. If I
continue to give attention to the lack of instead
of keeping my attention on the having of it, it
helps if I remind myself of my sister and her
tomatoes.

As with many siblings, my sister and I are pretty
much completely opposite. One of the areas we
are opposite in, is gardening. She loves to plant
and work in her flower and vegetable gardens
every spring and summer. I DO not! And I do
not even help!

My part of the garden is enjoying the end result
of Tomatoes. She always has an abundance of
tomatoes. She cans them, gives them away and
they are always beautiful.

Does my sister go out and yell at the tomato
seeds the day after she plants them because she
wants the tomatoes now? No, she does not.
She never yells at the tomatoes in order to make
them ‘be full grown’ now.

So, what does my sister do which brings her
wonderful tomatoes, that we can also apply to
our dreams coming true?

First she understands the importance of
cultivating and nurturing her tomato seed.
AND….She pre-paves and pre-plans what she
will do after the tomatoes have beautifully
grown.

Part of her cultivating and nurturing she has
little control over. She trusts there will be sun
and rain. If the season is dryer than usual, she
will pull out the hose and water the tomatoes
herself.

She knows water is part of the love and care that
tomatoes need. Cultivating and nurturing are
part of her method of wonderful tomatoes. She
never thinks, ‘I won’t have tomatoes, this
season’. She understands, that even though she
can’t see them yet, they will appear.

On some level, she’s knows she’s started
toward the end result by planting the seed and
helping to nurture and cultivate it by loving it,
giving it what it needs and planning for the end
result done deal. She has a perfect system of
successful tomatoes.

My sister plans ahead for having the done deal
end result. She lets those of us in the family
know she won’t be available much when the
tomatoes are ready to be canned. The canning
jars are washed and readied. And of course I’m
on the list for the delivery of the beautiful
tomatoes. I don’t care much for the canned
version.

What’s the point? We have to realize,
acknowledge, accept that there is a gestation
period of the things we want for our lives.
Gestation is a period of growth where we apply
cultivation and nurturing. We do it for
pregnancy for crops and more.

We get a bit hung up as we begin using higher
tools for desire fulfillment. We want the money
now, we want the new home now. We want out
of whatever jam we created now!

If we start yelling at the ‘it’s not here yet, this
does not work’ it’s like we went out to the
garden the day or even the week after we
planted tomatoes and started yelling at the seed,
yelling at tomatoes. ‘Where are you! How come
you are not a full tomato yet! I’m going to quit
the garden. No more water for you, and I’m
throwing away the canning jars!

We do it with weight loss. We start a method
that we hope will work. It doesn’t work in a
week and we start down the road of ‘not having
it yet’ which brings more of not there yet.

Whether things are visible or invisible to us, it’s
all light energy. And we can mold it into
whatever we want. But it’ll take the pressure off
and increase both quality and momentum if we
understand that there is a gestation period
involved in desire fulfillment.

How do we hang on during this gestation period
when we think we need it now, have to have it
now or else? We trust in things of a higher
nature. We learn how things work. As we start
this, magic and miracles show up. I know
because I’ve been there!

Not a lot of time will be needed as long as we
apply a steady direction towards the having of
what we want. Steady direction in the form of
‘cultivating and nurturing’.

And how do we do that? Just as my sister
cultivates and nurtures her tomato seeds. She
thinks of the having of them, the end result. She
thinks of it in good feeling ways while planning
for them showing up. She stays in the direction
of the done deal, the end result fullfilled.

She’s optimistic and holds herself in ‘positive
expectancy’ of her tomatoes growing. She trusts
in the period of gestation, of growth. She shows
her trust by cultivating, nurturing and pre-
planning of ‘the having of it’.
